Stormsriver village is a quaint hamlet settled in the Tsitsikamma (place of plentiful water). It may be a small town but it has a lot of soul. Underestimated by travellers and passersby, Stormsriver is abundant with activities, both adventurous and laid back. The Tsitsikamma National Park is popular with hikers and nature lovers as it offers a number of hiking trails including the world famous Otter Trail. Not an avid hiker, but still want to see the forest? Then try the Canopy Tours which involves being strapped into a harness and sliding along a number of steel cables 30 metres above the forest floor... Amazing! For those seeking a once in a lifetime experience, try the famous Blackwater Tubing, where you descend deep in to the Stormsriver Gorge for a unique experience of tubing, swimming and rock jumping. Looking for something to get the adrenaline going, well then the Bloukrans Bridge offers you the world’s highest bungee jump, at 216 meters - the equivalent of nearly 70 storeys, Woohoo!
